Ronald Ossory Dunlop, RA, NEA, ARA, RBA
Ronald Ossory Dunlop was an Irish writer and painter in oil of landscapes, seascapes, figure studies, portraits and still life. He was born in 1894, into an artistic family, and grew up in an atmosphere of mysticism and Spiritualism. Dunlop rose to become a prominent exhibitor, at such galleries as the Royal Academy, New English Art Club and the Glasgow Institute of Fine Art. He was a full member of the Royal Academy in 1950, Dunlop would continue to exhibit and write from his West Sussex home, publishing many books in the field of arts.
